Company Directors FRANK CARR M.B.A., M.Phil., FAIM, FIoD. Executive Chairman Mr
Carr has been a company director for over thirty years and has
extensive experience in management, corporate advisory, and business
recovery activities. He has directed many successful initial
public offerings and stock exchange listings in Australia, New Zealand
and the USA. As joint founder and managing director of Miniskips
Limited in May 1985, he was responsible for the then most successful
entrant to the Australian Stock Exchange. On his resignation in
December 1986 the company’s market capitalisation had grown from $3
million to $130 million, it had established a new market segment within
the waste industry in Australia and New Zealand, and had received the
Australian Marketing Institute award for that year. BRIAN MARTIN B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D.., FAustIMM Director Dr. Martin
received his primary degree and
doctorate in geochemistry from the University of Manchester. He spent
two years as a research scientist with the Commonwealth Scientific and
Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and he has served in the
Economic Policy Section of the Australian Foreign Service. During a
period in which he worked with the United Nations Environment
Programme, he helped establish the Global Environmental Monitoring
System. In 1979 he became a Research Fellow with the Rockefeller
Foundation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard
University. Dr. Martin has acted as an
independent consultant
in many mine and exploration assessments and has provided reports in
numerous merger and takeover situations. He has an extensive list
of publications on mining, exploration, and mineralogy to his
credit and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and
Metallurgy. A former banking
advisor
and director of mining
companies and capital corporations, Dr. Martin has a great deal of
experience in company direction and management and has consulted widely
to companies since his return to Australia.
BEVAN JAGGARD Director & Company Secretary Mr. Jaggard has over 30 years experience in the fields of project management and business development both for local government and in his own right. He is an experienced company director and secretary and has served local communities in many capacities in business and charitable associations. As Project Manager, Mr Jaggard has also directed the drilling and exploration activities of the Company since their inception in 1995.
